Translations for the Spanish student visa
To study in Spain for more than three months, non-EU students need a student visa. For longer courses, the consulate usually asks for a criminal record and a medical certificate, apostilled and translated into Spanish.
Documents that usually need translating
- Criminal record certificate (FBI, ACRO, RCMP…), apostilled, for adult students on longer courses.
- Medical certificate, if it is not issued in Spanish.
- Academic records and degrees, when the school or university asks for them.
- Proof of funds or a letter of financial support from your parents, if not in Spanish.
Timing
Book your consulate appointment early and order the background check first, as it takes the longest. We translate the certificates in one or two working days once you have them.
